How does the patch attach?

Every FILSEF patch has a hook backing — the scratchy half of hook-and-loop. It grips any loop-compatible surface and peels straight back off, so you can move a patch between bags or swap it out whenever you want.

Is the loop surface included?

No. You are buying the patch only. If your backpack, vest or hat does not already have a loop panel on it, you will need to supply one. We mention this everywhere because it is the single most common question we get.

What size are they?

It varies by design, from about an inch up to four and a half inches. The exact dimensions are listed on every product page in both inches and centimetres, and most listings include a measurement graphic as the second image.

Why is everything the same price?

Because $12.99 is easier than a price list. Big patches, small patches, simple ones, complicated ones — all $12.99.

Where do you ship?

Currently the United States only. See our Shipping Policy for timings and costs.

Can I return a patch?

Yes, within 30 days, as long as it is unused and the backing is intact. Full details are in our Refund Policy.

Can I wash them?

Take the patch off first. The patches themselves are durable, but running the hook backing through a wash cycle attached to a garment is how you end up with a patch that no longer grips. Remove it, wash the item, put the patch back.

Do you do custom or bulk orders?

Something arrived wrong or damaged

Email shopify@capekurtle.com with your order number and a photo within 30 days and we will replace it or refund you. That one is on us, including return shipping.
